FRESH FIND: Only show models I haven't seen or liked yet
I love browsing the website for new models to discover, but: - When I sort by "most commented/reactions," it mostly shows popular models that I already know - When I sort by "newest," the quality is uncertain because no one has liked or commented yet. I would like to suggest new options: sorting by most comment/reactions but only showing models that I haven't liked or commented on yet. To help with this, I propose adding a "Quick Hide/Unhide" feature to the main page. This would allow users to quickly hide models that they have already liked, making it easier to search for new models that they haven't seen or liked before. This would greatly improve the browsing experience on your website and help users like myself discover new models more efficiently. Thank you for considering my suggestion. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this feature.

Toggle between All, Portrait and Landscape images
Basically, as landscape Images generally get the short end of the stick add some side toggles on the left so you have: - 1. All. Show Images as they are displayed currently. 2. Port: This would display Portrait and square format images only. 3. Land. This would display landscape-orientated images only in a 16:9 frame. Mockup example: - I think it would be beneficial for the community as a whole.

Add a remix Tag/Marker to images remixed on the site
There have been a few instances where straight one one-on-one copies of other people’s prompts have been featured, much to the annoyance of the original creators who spent the time to engineer the prompts. A simple way to ensure this doesn’t happen and to encourage people to develop and evolve others’ prompts creatively versus just regen verbatim would be to add a Remix Tag/Marker for any onsite generations. If overall there’s say 20% deviation from the original prompt then the Remix tag marker would disappear. Taking inspiration from something and adapting it is fine (everything is a remix after all), but straight photocopying is not so much. Bit of a shower thought, but I know there’s been a lot of chatter on this one and I’m a firm believer in at least throwing out an idea. No linkbacks or chains or any of that nonsense, just a simple ‘Remix’ Tag/Marker.

Image Generator Advanced Mode
In consultation with the good folk of Office Hours, we’re proposing an Advanced or “Unrestricted” Generation mode toggle, available from the profile picture menu > Account Settings. When enabled, the following would be possible; Overriding the Creator recommended Strength for LoRAs Enabling the use of models from different (potentially incompatible) ecosystems (e.g. SDXL models + Pony Resources) Allowing lower than normal Step counts (sub 10), and other potentially game-breaking settings There would be a high risk of image generation failures, which would be acknowledged by enabling the Advanced Mode. Please feel free to comment your thoughts below, and add your suggestions for other variables which might be “unlocked” in this mode.

Option for "filter to favorite models" under Add Additional Resources for on-site generator
The creator is already plugged into the user's preferences so it can not show ignored models. Should be a relatively simple process to add a one button on/off switch to show only models a user has favorited that support on-site generation.

Showing Posts instead of Showcases or Images in profile.
Why can one not show up his posts in their profile instead of first 4 last images? This would give a much better overview of what a creator is doing. Showcases also only show some pictures. I still do not understand, what showcases are for. Maybe that’s my fault them. The advantage of the posts overview is, that the viewer can click on it and see all other images of that series and react on them.

A "Stable" of configuration specialist for Hire, not Fiver
Nothing against Fiver, but finding someone to help with optimization/configuration issues of A1111 or ComfyUI is difficult and spotty at best. Can Civitai offer a marketplace where user’s can go to find and hire IT professionals to help? Some level of certification would be nice, but finding a person who just did 25 ComfyUI installations would be a godsend.

Allow additional information on ToS reports
There are instances where reports are based on ToS violations, but the system does not allow comments in that context (eg. necessary explanation why this actually is a violation). This would be helpful.

Add "hide content with this model" option
When browsing through images, often there's e.g. a LoRA with a style or theme or concept that I really don't want to see, if you know what I mean. Going to that model and selecting Hide this model merely stops that specific model from appearing in model lists or model searches. Yet, the content remains. I don't find Hide content from this user satisfying, because I may want to see other content from a talented user... just not that stuff. If this functionality is supposed to be handled by Hide content with these tags, then that's misleading: the model itself has its own tags, so it makes sense to assume that this option hides contents sharing tags with the model.

Buzz rewards for cross-posts
Many Lora creators struggle to get enough buzz from images using their resources. We cant scrape enough buzz to create more loras or even generate images. "But cross posting has the potential for infinite buzz stacking trough cross-posting" Solution 1: Divide the buzz earned by the resources used. Solution 2: There is already a cap of 1 for the first post, i don't agree that this will be an infinite buzz generator.

Make badges permanent
I made it briefly to the top 10 master generator list recently, so I was rewarded a silver badge. Of course, I put it on proudly 😅. But that badge is gone the next day when I dropped back to #11 😭😂. Seems to me that it make more sense to make any badge earned permanent. People don't have to return their trophies when they don't win the Oscar again next year, right? The only exceptions that I know of are team trophies such as the Stanley Cup and The World Cup for soccer.

Ability to favorite and exclude posts by tag, and greater usage of tags in general.
In my profile, there would be a "Favorite Tags" section and "Tags to Exclude" section. I enter tags separated by a delimiter, and posts that have a Favorite tag are displayed in a section above all other posts. Posts with an Excluded tag are either strictly hidden, or maybe blurred with a message saying which excluded tag it has.

Sort collections+
It would be great if we could sort the order of our collections. If possible freely or just by alphabet. It would also be nice to be able to group collections for better overview. And one more great addition would be that for models you already have in a collection. If you press save (to collection) on the model it would be great if all the collections including this show up on the top of the list.

The idea is that just as they can be sorted by the newest, they can be sorted randomly without following any rule in the time that has been chosen.

Option to sort by most downloaded out of uploaded past day/week/month/year/all time
Hi, I started Stable Diffusion and AI stuff in May, and back then, I'd just sort all models by most downloaded of all time and download the best ones. Now, many months and hundreds (thousands?) of uploads later, sorting via that method mixes new models in the results with preexisting models that have high downloads from being up so long. This hinders the ability to find the best models from the ones that were recently uploaded, ones that I don't already know of. I'd like to propose a new dropdown menu that allows users to sort models by newest/highest rated/downloaded/etc out of models uploaded in a given timeframe such as the currently available day/week/month/year/all time, the only difference being that in addition to sorting by x metric, it only shows the ones that were uploaded in y time frame, therefore allowing users to more easily discover good new models. I understand from the current behavior of uploads that an updated checkpoint of an existing model series will appear in the newer sections, so if the same occurs after my proposed feature is implemented, then it'd at least be consistent and shouldn't matter too much. I hope some thought goes into adding this feature as this need was felt through months of using the site daily and I feel like it would really be welcomed by most users and shouldn't be too difficult to implement. Thanks for reading.

Category for training data
Would Civitai consider being the best source for uploaded training data? Right now, it's kind of hidden, and you need to know it exists and upload multiple files in order to be able to see that "Training Images" is even an option. The first file you upload to a LoRA-model post, only displays the "LoRA" option. Making you think that there's no other option. Ideally, when uploading a model, there should be a box that's always there asking you to upload the training data, to encourage people doing so. Not enforced of course. But just to make everyone aware of it, and to share the data so that everyone can learn from it. I wrote an article about it: https://civitai.com/articles/2138

Standardized Preview Prompt for all Models
There are already a lot of models out there and it got nearly impossible to tell the difference between anime model A and anime model B for example. There should be a standardized preview prompt for all model and maybe also lora creators and those standardized prompt previews should be in the thumbnail on the website. or make it turn on and off. so people can actually see a difference. with control net and openpose it is very easy to setup a standard prompt. see attached img for example.

Civitai not just for Stable diffusion
I am sorry if this too vague. But unlike stable diffusion the open source language model community doesn't have a gifted website such as the civitai. Where people can upload their finetune models, Lora's, and public can rate them. It would be awesome if the developers could make something like Civitai LLM which is dedicated for open source LLM . As of now people depend on hugging face, which doesn't really give much idea about which is best good, how is it good etc. may be not soon but just a thought I really wanted to share.
