Update email associated to account

Would it be possible to have the ability to change the email to which I registered my account? I read somewhere that support around this was considered as an unnecessary extra work. If this more of a "isolated/rare case" that doesn't justify implementing this, can we at least have a point of contact to request for that type of update?
