Steps to Simplified Save

Currently on the model page, there are 6 steps to complete the Save action, which is a very slow and time-consuming process for those who use this feature frequently.

1. Click the "⋮" button.

2. Click the Save button

3. Wait for the collections to load.

4. Find the target collections in the small window.

5. Check the box for Collections

6. Click Save

I think there are four improvements that can be made to enhance the user experience.

1. Reduce the width of the download button and move Save from "⋮" to the right side of Like.

If the space is not suitable for another button, I think it's worthwhile to move Run Model or Share somewhere else, like the left side of ⋮.

The last resort is to move Save to the left side of ⋮.

I think it's a bad position for a frequently used button, but it's still better than the original position.

2. Speed up the loading of collections.

It often takes about two seconds to load collections when the action window appears.

I don't understand why, in my experience with other sites it should appear immediately.

If this is a fixable problem, please make it faster.

If this is the result of some hard limitation, please ignore what I've said.

3. Improve the action window

I think a better format would be to have a drop down menu that appears below the user's click on the Save button, and a click outside of the menu closes the menu.

Users can check and uncheck selections directly from this menu, and skip the Save confirmation in step 6.

It would be better to have a menu that can display 10 or so selections at a time. Currently, it can only display four, which is too few.

If it is not possible to change to this format, then I think the following improvements can be made.

3-1. Larger operation window.

Users are likely to have more than 10 collections, but the current window only displays four at a time, which causes the user to spend extra time scrolling through and searching for the collection they want.

I think 10 or so at a time would be a good size.

3-2. Cancel the Save button at the end.

When the user selects the collections he wants to save, he immediately saves them and closes the window.

Closing the window by clicking Save is redundant, and it is rare to need to check more than one collection in a single operation. Optimizing the Save process is sufficient to meet these needs.

4. Manually Adjust the Sorting of Collections

Currently, since the user can't change the sorting of the collections, the earlier the collection is created, the lower it will be in the list, however, they may be the most frequently selected and viewed at the same time, so the user will have to scroll down to the bottom to find the most frequently selected collection.

If the user can adjust the ordering of the collections according to his/her own habits, even if there are not many collections displayed in the window at a time, it will not affect the usage.
