I wanted to share a concern I’ve noticed lately—it seems like a handful of users might be exploiting bots or coordinated groups to artificially inflate their posts’ upvotes.

This makes it frustrating for genuine genners when low-effort content shoots to the front page instantly (like clockwork, some posts gain 50+ votes within minutes), while higher-quality work gets buried. It risks turning the platform into a numbers game rather than a space for real creativity.

I’m hoping Civitai could explore adding safeguards to prevent vote manipulation. For example, flagging accounts that only interact with one user’s content.

Small tweaks like these could protect the community’s trust and ensure everyone’s work gets a fair shot. Thanks for all you do—this platform is amazing, and I’d hate to see it undermined by unfair tactics!
