Pages instead of endless scroll please?

As a newbie I'd like to browse EVERYTHING but the endless scroll makes this a daunting task as I have no idea how much stuff is here. If I mistakenly click on an interesting item (vice right-click and open in a new tab) I have to start aaaaaaaallllllllllll over at the beginning since you aren't taken back to where you where.
