When creating a LoRA using the civitai generator, it would be extremely helpful and convenient if the user could create extra test images to compare the different epochs that were made by the generator. Once the epochs have been made, the user can download each one and test on their own system, but this can be slow and inconvenient especially when working with Flux.
Proposal: On the generated epochs screen after LoRA generation (“Select Model File” in the workflow”), add a checkbox selection option to each epoch. The user can select up to 4 (the normal maximum for image generation) and will then proceed to an image generation screen. Here, the user can enter a prompt and choose a base checkpoint. The image will be generated once with each epoch that was selected, using the same seed for each. This will give full-size image comparison capabilities when choosing an epoch.
Sometimes, the sample image prompt that we enter may not turn out to be very useful at discovering the good and bad of each epoch. Civitai’s image generation is usually pretty fast, especially with flux when compared to most user’s computers. Being able to do this comparison step with unpublished LoRA epochs would be really convenient.
Of course, the usual image generation buzz fee would be imposed, but that’s small change compared with creating the LoRA in the first place.
