Mute Notifications From Notifications GUI
Currently, to mute a certain type of notification, users need to open settings and find the notification type in a long list - it's confusing to understand which notifications correlate to which settings. It would be much better if there were an option for right-clicking(or sliding buttons or something...) on any notification in the main notification GUI, and the user would be able to mute it directly for the selected type. It would make the settings more accessible and easier to use and change.
Add more levels of notifications
Currently, there are only 2 levels of notifications - muted and unmuted. It would be better for users to have a few more levels of classification for notifications. Users can decide to have a few levels of how important particular notifications are. For example, bounties can be very important for a certain user, so he can define notifications related to bounties as very important/critical with red notifications, comments to be less important with yellow notifications, and other things that are not so important with green notifications. Users can have 3 or maybe even 5 levels of importance for their notifications.
Priority for certain resources
An option to define certain models/resources/articles to have a higher importance of notifications than others. For example, a user who is interested in a particular conversation would be able to define messages from a certain article with high priority, while messages from another article will be marked as not important by default.
