I think that a users profiles should display the number of generations they’ve done on site (not published) as well as the number of Downloads they’ve obtained from the site, number of engagements such as likes, comments, thumbs-ups, and number of reviews or discussions.
Then, when we upload content, we should be able to set requirements for engagement levels as a criteria for users to be able to obtain our content.
The reason behind this is, that ive noticed a number of seemingly brand new accounts with between zero and five posts that download a lora of mine. And, many users download and never come back to post an image, leave a review, or even a thumbs up.
The changes im suggesting would not only prevent hard-core leeching to some degree but it would greatly incentivize engagement and activity. And it would allow content creators the ability to make specialized content for higher level users with more experience or who are a larger part of the community. This should be a give and take relationship since the work we are doing is free and making YOU money, and not just a take take take take take take take. By both Civitai and the Users.
The least you could do is structure the site to foster engagement of the takers with the givers beyond just sucking our life blood.
It would also be nice if you added in badges or levels for the site. Such as site xp that you get for downloads and likes etc, or by having content used during generation such as models and loras, that correspond to the amount of buzz you recieve for tasks on site. And badges you get for 1k, 5k, 10k downloads etc.
