Cross-post are behaving very strange

I have a few cross-posts that only have a single resource - my model.
But they are still cross-posts somehow.
Maybe cross-post can be more easily marked, what resources they are posted on?
And why are they considered cross-post if there is only a single resource associated with them?
Resources appear on the image level but not on the post level, can they be listed on the post level?
There are also no notifications about messages from such cross-posts.
