Create an "Announcements" tab

It's nice to hear about contests and events but with the banner system , information will appear when you are trying to do something else and then be completely gone.

I suggest adding an "Announcements" tab on the site where you can post information about current events.

Ideally, you could have a little icon on the tab appear whenever something new is posted, so people can stay in the loop.
