Checkpoint Auction System - Limited Slots for Different Model Bases

From my browsing on civitai-help on the Discord page, not a lot of people are satisfied with the first week model selections, since most of the slots ended up being Illustrious. Now, it is fine for people to vote/bid for what they want, but if this was an election, it was basically a one-party landslide for Illustrious.

Note: Numbers are subject to change, this is more of a proof-of-reference than an actual implementation of it.

To both preserve some semblance of “fair” in this system and allows niche checkpoint bases to gain some popularity, I propose each model bases that has at least 2 models submitted on the generator get a guaranteed slot for that model (max: 20 models) for each additional 2 model bids on the auction page.

Each model still has to reach the 1k minimum bid to actually be added onto the generator, since that is the baseline that all models should reach

Now, what about the leftover slots on models like SD3, SD1.5, Flux or SD2, (or somehow even SDXL at the time I wrote this) that doesn’t have a lot of models or users? The leftover slots that came from models not reaching the 1k minimum are put back in the common pool that works the same way as the current system - largest bidder (remaining) wins.

Of course, to make sure each unique model has a chance, every base model are excluded from bidding, to make sure that no slots are left unclaimed.

To prevent people cheating the system by using extra slots, if a model has frequent reports of erroring out due to wrong architecture, the model should be excluded from bidding completely, the creator be given a warning/strike, and the next eligible model will be added (based on limited slots first, then common slots).

The ordering of what model bases should be considered first has a few ways to solve: release date of first base model (easiest, though that means either NoobAI or SD1.4/1.5 will be first in contention, depending on ascending or descending order), or total bidded model within that base (in this case, it would be IL>NAI>Flux>SDXL>SD1.5>SD3>… for the 1st week, in case of ties, either random or release date).
