In the past few weeks, we've been hard at work behind the scenes, rolling out a series of exciting updates across Civitai.com. From enhancing core features on the main site to significantly upgrading the Education Hub, and even making strides with Featurebase, we’ve made improvements that we're confident will elevate your experience.

These changes are designed to make your journey smoother, more intuitive, and more enriching.

Below, you'll find a roundup of the most impactful updates we've implemented, along with minor but significant changes and fixes.

This initial changelog will serve as a baseline for future, more frequent, updates.

Civitai Main Site

Major Feature Changes & Additions

• New Foundational Model Flux is now available on the Civitai Image Generator and LoRA Trainer. Read our Quickstart Guide!

• Civitai Early Access launched.

• Civitai Generator Compensation implemented.

• Buzz Beggars’ Board instituted.

• Ads - and free buzz! Ads: Earn Buzz by browsing the site

Minor Changes, Fixes & Additions

• Device fingerprinting.

• Upper and Lower Buzz limits added to Early Access.

• Images created in the Generator draggable again (to new tab, etc.).

• Prevent the creation of Bounties for the likeness of real people.

• Prevent downloading Early Access resources with Civitai Link before unlock.

• Fix Bounty Creation issue (upset with dates).

• Added toggle for small/large image display in the Image Generator (available from Account Settings).

• End Early Access donation goals upon goal being met.

• Recaptcha disabled on Terms of Service accept step during signup.

• Favorite filter for generated images added.

• Prevent Civitai Vault from bypassing Early Access.

• Additional filters added to Video feed (base model, tools, etc.)

• Image view count metric disabled due to inaccuracy.

• Add image hash blocking for moderation.

• Added resource .sft support.

• Prevent Article Published Date being updated upon edit/save.

• Fix for users with + in email not being able to sign in. Going forward, email addresses with + in email will not be permitted to create accounts, to combat botting/abuse.

• LoRA Trainer - Image resolution taken into account for training ETA

Civitai Education Hub (https://education.civitai.com)

• EduBot - A new chatbot specifically trained to educate on Generative AI principles.

• Community Guides section (particularly insightful or useful articles from Civitai’s article section may be posted to the Community Guides section).

• A number of site design and category changes, designed to make it easier to find the content you need.

• Full overhaul of Educational Content; all guides and articles refreshed!

• We’ve cleared the backlog of Feedback & Feature Requests!

• We’re working on consolidation of duplicate requests, categorisation, and prioritization of existing issues.
